Play Ball 2019 Brought the Power of Play!

On Friday October 25, 2019 nearly 740 guests joined honorary co-chairs The Del Monte Family for Play Ball®—Rochester’s most playful gala! Play Ball attendees enjoyed an evening of larger-than-life fun and festivities featuring creative cocktails, fantastic food, eclectic entertainment, amazing auctions, and a surprise around every corner—all to benefit The Strong. America’s Got Talent finalist, Tape Face, delighted guests with his prop comedy and interactive sets. Just as he promised, he left everyone lost for words!

Play Ball 2019 raised more than $414,000 in support of The Strong's educational mission and outreach programs, as well as the museum’s upcoming transformative expansion project—making this year the most successful Play Ball to date. The Strong is grateful for the generosity of everyone who supported Play Ball and is excited to continue to grow this one-of-a-kind, world-class museum. Together we can build a brighter future—a future powered by play.
