PLAY BALL 2020

On Friday, October 2, friends from across our community joined The Strong’s national partners, sponsors, and event chair Mary C. Valentine for the museum’s annual gala, Play Ball. This year’s Play Ball was unlike any other—not only because it was the tenth anniversary, but also because it was the first-ever virtual Play Ball, a necessity to keep everyone safe amidst the COVID-19 crisis.

We are proud to share that Play Ball 2020 was a huge success, raising nearly $215,000 thanks to the generosity of Play Ball supporters. In addition to supporting The Strong’s educational mission and community outreach programs, the funds donated during Play Ball help to sustain the museum as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and its ongoing financial impact.
