Hilleman & Orr Autographed: Two Madden NFL ’17 Xbox One games NEW, autographed by co-creators Hilleman & Orr
Own a complete set of unique autographed games from video game history! The games in this auction are two brand new, collectible copies of the Xbox One version of Madden NFL ’18, a modern version of the best-selling sports game of all time in North America. They are ready to frame (if desired) for display on your wall or shelf. They are signed (one copy by each) by Richard Hilleman, the Producer and co-creator of the modern Madden NFL video game from EA Sports, and by Scott Orr, the Game Designer who teamed with Hilleman to create the game. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak we were unable to get Scott and Rich together at the same time, so they each signed copies of the game and we have paired the two copies together for this auction. There are no other Madden games bearing either Hilleman’s or Orr’s autograph available on eBay as of the launch of this auction. For this year’s Play Ball Auction for The Strong National Museum of Play, however, both of these video game superstars signed a range of games covering almost 25 years of video game history! These are collectible copies, brand new, signed on the front of the box in silver Sharpie by Scott Orr (on one copy), and by Richard Hilleman (on the second copy, with the inscription “1990,” to denote the year in which Hilleman and Orr first began work on the game). This is the 30th anniversary year of the launch of Madden development. Note: As collectible, brand-new games these copies are signed on the front of the box, on the protective clear plastic wrapping. They are intended for display purposes, and if the wrapping is removed to open the box the autograph will be lost or separated from the game.
